International Society of Arboriculture Chooses New Finance Director
CHAMPAIGN, IL (September 7, 2005)-The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), announces the selection of Mark Bluhm as its new Director of Finance. Bluhm brings to the headquarters staff in Champaign, IL a background in banking and agriculture.
After earning his Bachelor of Science in both Agricultural Education and Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois, Bluhm worked as a Farm Loan Officer at Farm Credit Services of Southeastern Illinois in Charleston, IL for five years. He sequentially worked as a loan officer and Assistant Vice President at Charleston Community Bank (First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust).
During his employment at the bank, Bluhm finished 4th at the Graduate School of Banking through the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. He will be leaving his current position of five years as Charleston Community President of First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust.
Bluhm, who is expected to join the ISA staff on October 3, 2005, is actively involved in the community holding numerous positions within several civic organizations, and has received numerous honors during his banking career. He also still actively participates in agricultural production on his family's farm in Royal, IL.
