Summit Tree Service is a family owned company who prides itself on Safety and Quality Tree Care for its clients.  We are a growing, full-service tree company that partners with a landscape management group to provide our clients with proactive tree preservation efforts and individualized attention.  Summit specializes in commercial and residential Tree Removal, Tree Pruning, and has a growing PHC program. 

This is a full-time salaried sales position allowing a sales individual to get hot leads, referrals, and work towards growing our current client base, many of which are multiple service line customers.  Our Arborists Sales division continually prospects for additional business from current clients and looks for new opportunities from future and prospected clients.  The Arborist Account Manager is responsible for updating individual property PHC programs annually.   

 

Requirements:

• ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
• 3+ years of a Proven Track Record of selling Multiple Service Lines including but not limited to: Pruning, Removal, Plant Health Care, and Stump Grinding
• Hands on Knowledge of Trees, Insects, Disease, Pruning, and Removal
• Degree in Horticulture, Entomology, Forestry, or related field preferred
• Attention to Details
• Strong Listening Skills
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record
• Michigan Pesticide Applicators Licensure Core, 3A, 3B, and 6 preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make Sales Goals and provide Results
• Meet with Clients to provide Estimates for Tree Work
• Active Pursuit of Identifying Customer Needs
• Diagnose PHC Concerns with Clients
• Provide Estimates in a Timely Fashion for Tree Service Lines
