Assistant Production Tree Manager

Location: Naperville, IL
Salary:

We are an established tree care company seeking an experienced, motivated individual for a full time Assistant Field Production Manager.  Primary responsibilities include: supervising and interacting with crews and customers at the job site on a daily basis.  Making sure crews are efficient and using safe work procedures.  Keep daily records/field notes accurately.  Communicate with Production Manager and office staff effectively.  Ability to prioritize assignments and dependability a must.  Hours are full time-year-round.

DUTIES:

• Assist Production Manager in dispatch, communication and monitoring of production crews
• Work with production crews to aid in completion of services
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
• Review neighboring properties for additional work opportunities
• Create site maps when necessary.
• Be able to function effectively in a fast paced work environment
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Adapt to a differing work description on a daily basis.
• REQUIREMENTS:
• ISA Arborist Certification preferred OR minimum 2-5 years arboriculture experience
• Ability to identify problems and work in conjunction with others to implement effective solutions and problem solve
• Strong leader with good communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers
• Mechanical aptitude and previous or current climbing abilities.
• Knowledge of tree identification, diagnostics, and services.
• Good decision making abilities
• Spanish speaking helpful
• Associates or Bachelors preferred
• High School diploma
• Valid Illinois driver’s license
