capabilities include two knuckle boom cranes with grapple saws and debris loader in addition to
traditional options like bucket truck, lift and chipper. Our products/ services offerings include tree
removal, pruning, treatments, stump removal and cabling. We also have recently implemented a
new software option to manage the entire business from initial call to invoicing.
As an Arborist Climber, you will be an integral member of a tree care crew with the primary
responsibility of tree pruning by climbing and/or use of our bucket or lift. You will also contribute
as needed to the full tree removal crew as demand and conditions warrant. Frank’s has both
residential and commercial customers in Columbus and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities:
As an Arborist Climber, you will play an important role in:
• Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties
• Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including:
o Tree identification
o Pruning
o Removals
o Assist in storm clean up
o Cabling and bracing
o Root collar excavations
o Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand
tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and safety policies

Qualifications:
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• Work well with others in a team environment
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• At least one (1) year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation
experience in the tree care industry
• At least two years work experience in the Arboriculture field or 4-year degree in
Arboriculture or relevant field, preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (Class B CDL preferred; if
not, company will assist with getting CDL license)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
