Estimator- Residential Div.

 We are looking to add an experienced Arborist to run projects from point of sale, estimation, hands-on project management to completion. Anvil (DBA ATLAS TREE SURGERY) has over 40 years of expertise in the tree care industry across CA taking pride in delivering best-in-class solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities Include:

Performing all aspects of arboriculture with the safety of crew, public, and trees at top of mind including:

• Generating new business & following up with legacy customers for routine services.
• Customer consultations and site visits to build accurate estimates.

• Educating residential and commercial clients about routine tree maintenance plus insect and disease management.
• Providing clear on-site instructions to Crew Leads at the start of every job.
• Providing accurate and honest tree risk assessments.
• Ensuring the health, safety, and beauty of trees and landscape.
• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies.
• Customer satisfaction.

- General Duties will vary but include:

• Serving as part of a multi-person CAE (Certified Arborist & Estimation) team

***   Using software, for high efficiency estimating, scheduling, dispatching, job management, report writing, job costing, and invoicing.

Requirements, Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• REQUIRED:
  • ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional
  • Three or more years of experience in the tree industry as a Climber and/or Arborist with customer-facing experience
  • Attending continuing education courses for ISA Certified Arborist
  • Assisting with developing processes to increase efficiency.
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills

 

• Preferably: you’ve done this before OR it’s the next step on your career path
  • You are a great communicator and work well independently and with a team.
  • Sales background
  • Proven track record of customer satisfaction
  • Comfortable with computers, writing arborist reports, and good at math
    • Experience with Single Ops, ArborNote, and Vista Software is a plus.
  • Physically fit, able to lift +/-40 pounds

Soft Skills: The ability to lead by example, being extremely hardworking and emotionally intelligent (Having the ability to identify and manage one’s own emotions, as well as the emotions of others.)
