Tree Maintenance Specialist

Location: Newton, MA
Salary: $64,000+

Newton is a growing leader in the care of public trees and community forestry. Over the last ten year our staff has grown from two individuals to twelve staff positions.

We are presently looking for people to fill several of our new tree care specialist positions.

What we are looking for:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience operating bucket trucks prefered but will train
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work well with coworkers and the public
• Ability to work efficiently and safely
• Professional  attitude with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm
• 3 to 5 years experience in all phases of arboriculture prefered
• Class B driver’s license preferred but we will train

We offer:

• Over 40 paid days off a year (including holidays, vacation and sick days).
• Four-day work weeks June through September.
• Starting pay $30+ per hour (up to $40 per hour by year six).
