Salary: $25.53 - $36.40/hour; $4,425.20 - $6,309.33/month; $53,102.40 - $75,712.00/year

Bargaining unit position.

An employee in this class is responsible for overseeing and participating, when necessary, in the work of a medium-sized to large crew performing complex arboriculture work and general tree maintenance or other related municipal services.

Assigns, directs, and reviews work of Parks and Recreation Forestry crews. Evaluates trees in the right-of-way (ROW) and City parks for structure, health, risk, insects, and diseases. Maintains records via computer, tablet, or cell phone; issues work orders for projects. Public contact is an integral part of the job, and employees are required to exercise considerable tact and courtesy. Meet with residents/other Departments with concerns about right-of-way (ROW) trees and park trees.
