Sales Consultant

Location: Chapel Hill, NC
Salary: Base salary + commission

Compensation: 

Base salary commensurate with experience, plus commission. 

 

Job Summary:

The Consultant role is ideal for someone who gets excited about creating customized care plans for residential and commercial clients based around their needs and what’s best for the tree, and who wants to learn from how that plan pans out in the long term.

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct on-site tree assessments to diagnose issues and recommend services such as pruning, removals, cabling, and plant health care treatments.

• Develop detailed proposals and estimates tailored to client needs and industry best practices.

• Build and maintain client relationships, providing education and guidance on proper tree care.

• Work closely with the office and field crews to ensure seamless service execution.

• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

• Stay updated on industry trends, safety standards, and best practices in arboriculture.

• Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote the company’s services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISA Certified Arborist credential

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently while simultaneously understanding how you fit into the bigger picture.

• 2+ years of tree care industry experience (field or consulting)

• Prior sales experience in arboriculture, landscaping, or a related field

• Familiarity with Jobber, or any similar customer relationship management software.
