Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and trimming trees on residential, commercial, and municipal properties to ensure safety, promote healthy tree growth, and enhance the overall landscape. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of proper tree care techniques and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Trim and prune trees to remove dead, damaged, or diseased branches and to improve the shape and health of the tree.

Operate equipment such as chainsaws, pruning shears, and stump grinders safely and efficiently.

Ensure safe tree removal and trimming by assessing tree height, condition, and surrounding environment.

Follow safety standards and regulations to minimize risk to team members, property, and the public.

Conduct tree inspections to identify potential hazards or diseases and report findings to the supervisor ( only applies to Arborist).

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure proper functionality.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a tree trimmer or in a related field.

Ability to operate and maintain tree trimming equipment (e.g., chainsaws, ropes, and aerial lifts).

Physical stamina and strength to work in various weather conditions and perform manual labor.

Strong attention to safety practices and detail.

Certification in arboriculture (preferred) or willingness to obtain certifications (e.g., ISA Certified Arborist).

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in elevated positions

Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, or rain.

Comfort working at heights and using specialized ariel lifts.
