Protect Your Landscape with Pest Management in the Landscape and Abiotic Disorders of Landscape Plants

ISA offers a variety of educational materials to help arborists improve their arboricultural knowledge. Each week we will feature a product, or group of products that will enhance your arboriculture education. This week, ISA is featuring Pest Management in the Landscape: An Introduction by Christopher Luley and A.D. Ali, and Abiotic Disorders of Landscape Plants: A Diagnostic Guide by Laurence Costello, Edward Perry, Nelda Matheny, J. Michael Henry and Pamela Geisel.

Developed to educate readers in the methods of diagnosing, monitoring and managing pest problems, Pest Management in the Landscape is an easy-to-read guide designed to help any industry professional or homeowner. This publication provides brief descriptions and images that explain the impact on plants from insects, mites, pathogens, animals, human and environmental conditions. Additionally, readers can earn two (2) CEUs by completing the Pest Management in the Landscape Quiz.

Abiotic Disorders of Landscape Plants is an excellent resource that provides practical strategies, techniques and tools for diagnosing plant injuries from 20 different abiotic causes. This publication covers various topics on physical sources of plant injury such as water deficit, nutrient deficiencies, salinity and so much more. Readers will also learn how to develop a step-by-step diagnostic strategy.
